Three other suspects were identified in the shootings that caused thousands of dollars in damage to the new district headquarters last month – despite only one being charged.

Marcus Rowe, 18, is charged with property damage and shooting at an apartment or an occupied building.

Rowe was seen on surveillance cameras driving a Cadillac sedan while a passenger in the front seat shot a gun at the building, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Metropolitan Court.

Rowe told investigators, “he was only there to pick up a girl and didn’t know anything about the other people there,” the ad said.

Prosecutors asked him to be held in prison until the trial.

His mother declined to comment to the journal.

Rowe was arrested Thursday by the Bernalillo Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the US Marshals Service Task Force at an apartment complex in Comanche NE near Carlisle, along with two others held on unrelated arrest warrants.

Also arrested were Thomas Acee, 18, and a 17-year-old who was not publicly identified.

Court documents describing the case against Rowe say investigators received anonymous evidence that the two were also involved in the shooting.

Jayme Fuller, a spokeswoman for the BCSO, said the 17-year-old was arrested in Sandoval County with a warrant on a previous charge of shooting from a motor vehicle.

Thomas Acee

Acee was admitted to the Metropolitan Detention Center on a California arrest warrant for being a minor in possession of a firearm, according to court documents.

Acee’s mother also declined to comment.

The October 11 shooting caused $ 45,000 in damage to the Bernalillo County building @ Alvarado Square in Silver and Fourth SW. The facility was closed for a week and a half while the crews removed 30 pounds of broken glass from the several story windowsill. Glass had also fallen into the heating and cooling units, damaged the customer service computer equipment, and fell over chairs and countertops.

Another suspect, 20-year-old Noah Tapia, surrendered a few days after the shooting. According to a criminal complaint, Tapia’s truck was seen driving downtown while a passenger was shooting out the window and into a parking garage where the shooting took place.

Tapia is charged with more than $ 1,000 damage to property, shooting at a residential or occupied building, manipulating evidence, and conspiracy.
