BRING THOSE DONATIONS TO THE HINKLE FAMILY FUN CENTER ON INDIAN SCHOOL TOMORROW FROM 10 TO 3. FREE DONUTS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. “My kids get to go to school with decent clothes,” George Parra, a father of six, said. “If it wasn’t for Locker 505, it would be very hard for me.”

Every year, thousands of Albuquerque students go without basic necessities. As you do your spring cleaning, think about donating your clothes to Recyclothes. Every year, Albuquerque Solid Waste and Locker 505 teams up for this clothing drive, which helps make sure Albuquerque Public School students in need have clothes, shoes, undergarments and coats so they can focus on learning. Locker 505 helps families local families in need. “I live on a social security check, paycheck to paycheck. my kids get to go to school with decent clothes,” George Parra, a father of six, said. “If it wasn’t for Locker 505, it would be very hard for me.” Sponsors are encouraging anyone able to donate clean, gently used clothes to the Hinkle Family Fun Center at 12901 Indian School Road Northeast, in the northwest corner of the parking lot, from 10 am to 3 pm on March 19, 2022. Last year they collected more than 10,000 pounds of clothes.
