Albuquerque City Councils sign the Amazon lease agreement

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The TenderLove Community Center works around the clock to prepare the homeless population for the cold winter weather. TenderLove Board Treasurer Nina Martinez and Board Member Delana Thompson discuss the center and what they are doing to ensure the homeless stay safe this winter.

The TenderLove Community Center is a non-profit organization that aims to empower individuals through professional training and life skills curricula. They provide a sewing curriculum, as well as basic financial skills, work labels, temporary living, and more. The organization’s initiative to prepare homeless people for the winter started last year.
