ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – For the past 49 years, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has spotted many celebrities, and now they can add a popular former child star to this list. Aside from the balloons, there are plenty of things in Balloon Fiesta Park that can grab your attention. On Sunday, a large crowd spotted former Disney star Hilary Duff.
“Lift off and the crowd cheered and then they realized, oh my god, this is Hilary Duff and it’s like a holy mackerel. So she had a great time, “said Scott Appelman, CEO of Rainbow Ryder’s Hot Air Balloon Company, really, really special.”
