Police are investigating a nightly shooting in northwest Albuquerque in which one person was in critical condition.
Officer Chase Jewell, an Albuquerque police spokesman, said officers were sent to call near Ventana Road and Calle de Vida early Saturday morning.
“Callers reported that multiple shots were fired in the area and subjects argued physically and verbally,” Jewell said.
He said officials found a shooting victim who was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition.
“Officers and detectives are still working to investigate the incident,” Jewell said. “… No perpetrators are currently known or in custody, and only one person has been reported as injured.”
