‘Blood In, Blood Out’ actor Victor Rivers to conduct meet and greet in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES – Actor Victor Rivers, known for his roles in “Blood In, Blood Out,” “The Mask of Zorro” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” will conduct a meet and greet with fans April 23.

Rivers will be at Red’s Barber Shop, 1675 Lohman, Ave., from 3 to 5 pm on Saturday.

Announcing the event highlights Rivers’ role as Magic Mike in “Blood In, Blood Out,” a 1993 cult-classic following the lives of Chicano relatives who are members of a street gang in East Los Angeles. Damian Chapa, more famously known as Miklo from “Blood In, Blood Out” also met with fans at Red’s Barber Shop, in 2019.

Rivers, a native of Cuba, was a professional football player before he became an actor. He played for the Miami Dolphins from 1978 to 1979. His first acting role was that of Jimmy in the 1984 movie “Fear City.” Rivers’ most high-profile acting gigs may be that of Joaquín Murrieta in the 1998 film “The Mask of Zorro” and as Ricardo Montemayor from 2013-2014 in the long-running soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
