COVID-19 claims seven more New Mexicans, including one Santa Fe County resident | Local News

COVID-19 killed seven more New Mexicans and has now killed 4,830 residents.

The state health ministry reported the seven deaths in its daily report on Tuesday. One fatality, a woman in her 60s from Santa Fe County, occurred in the past 30 days, the state said. She was hospitalized.

In addition, the state added 540 new cases to its list, including 154 in Bernalillo County. That was the only district in the three-digit range on Tuesday.

Santa Fe County reported 31 new cases, including eight in Rio Arriba County and one in Los Alamos County.

According to the Department of Health, 352 people with COVID-19 were in hospitals in New Mexico.
