COVID-19 fatality count grows by 12 | Coronavirus

New Mexico’s COVID-19 case list grew by 675 and 12 more people died from the disease, according to a report released Tuesday by the Department of Health.

Six of the 12 fatalities on Tuesday’s list came from McKinley and San Juan counties, where COVID-19 is again on the move.

Santa Fe County reported 27 new cases, well below the 175 reported by Bernalillo County. There have been 20 cases in the Rio Arriba district and two in the Los Alamos district.

In New Mexico, 382 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

The seven postcodes across the state with the highest number of COVID-19 cases on Tuesday were:

• 87401 – Farmington and parts of San Juan County.

• 87121 – Much of the west side of Albuquerque and western Bernalillo Counties.

• 87120 – Northwest Albuquerque.

• 87114 – Albuquerques North Valley, west to the Paradise Hills.

• 87111 – A stretch of the northeastern highs of Albuquerque in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains.

• 88005 – The west side of Las Cruces.

• 88012 – Mainly the east side of Las Cruces.
