Our beloved Estrella Alicia Tenorio, 30, passed away on June 14, 2022.

Estrella was born on Sept. 10, 1991 to her loving parents, Michael and Marlene Tenorio.

She attended West Las Vegas High School and graduated with honors in the National Honors Society. She was an outstanding student-athlete and excelled in volleyball, basketball, tennis and cheerleading. After high school, she dedicated her time to the youth of West Las Vegas and coached tennis and volleyball. She has always strived to help others and subsequently earned an associate’s degree in Nursing from Luna Community College. After receiving her degree, she worked at Dialysis of New Mexico assisting people in need of dialysis. Currently, she worked in Los Angeles, Calif. for AT&T as a sales representative traveling around Southern California.

Estrella will be remembered for her beautiful smile and that profound beautiful sparkle in her eye. She always had a caring spirit which was displayed daily through her lifetime service of being a caretaker for her family and others. She will be remembered for being an intelligent, hard working individual who had the courage to always stand up for herself and others. Her fighting spirit to better herself will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her mother Marlene Tenorio; maternal grandparents, Luis and Lugarda Saiz; paternal grandfather Mike S. Tenorio.

Estrella is survived by her father Michael Tenorio of Las Vegas, NM; brothers, Estevan Tenorio of Albuquerque, NM and Enrico Tenorio (Kate) of Santa Rosa, NM; nephew Enrico Santos Tenorio; paternal grandmother Oclides Tenorio of Arroyo Seco, NM; uncles and aunts, Luis Saiz Jr. (Rose) of Houston, Tex., Pablita Chavez (Joe) of Albuquerque, NM, Ruben Saiz (Chavela) of Puerto de Luna, Manuel Saiz (Velma) of Albuquerque, NM, Gloria Gallegos ( Leroy) of Las Vegas, NM, Andrew Tenorio of Arroyo Seco, NM, Regina Gorum of Albuquerque, NM and Edwina Tenorio (Eric) of Albuquerque, NM; god daughter Adeline Gallegos of Las Cruces, NM; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Rosary service will be recited on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 7 pm Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 9 am with Father George V. Salazar both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers Sabastian Flores, Brandon Trujillo, Jamez Montoya, Juan Murgia, Juan Silva, Joshua Barela and Francisco Gallegos.
