ALBUQUERQUE, NM (AP) – Albuquerque police said they are investigating a fatal accident involving a car and motorcycle.
The officers reacted at the scene of the crime at around 9 p.m. on Saturday and the police said the motorcyclist had died at the scene.
The victim’s name, age and sex were not immediately disclosed.
Witnesses told police they saw a white four-door car flee from the scene.
Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the crash.
According to witness statements, the motorcycle was traveling at high speed when the sedan pulled out of a hotel and pulled onto a street.
The brakes of the motorcycle should be locked and the motorcycle skidded.
Witnesses said the motorcycle crashed and the driver may have hit the car, which then left the scene.
