FBI, Albuquerque Police Department looking for Nike-capped bank robbers – FBI

An unidentified man wearing a blue Nike baseball cap robbed a bank in northeast Albuquerque on Friday, October 1, 2021, likely the second bank robbery this suspect has committed in less than a week.

The suspect robbed the US bank at 5620 Wyoming Blvd. NE, around 11:38 a.m.

He is described as a white male between 20 and 30, stands about 5’7 “tall, and weighs about 120 pounds.

The suspect wore a blue Nike baseball cap, white hospital mask, long-sleeved red plaid shirt, blue hospital gloves, and blue jeans.

He walked into the bank and presented a payment order to a cashier who gave the suspect an unknown amount of money.

The suspect escaped on foot into a nearby Walmart parking lot.

That person is likely the same suspect who robbed Bank of the West, 2101 Eubank Boulevard NE, on Tuesday.

The Albuquerque Police Department is supporting this investigation.
