Ledes from the Land of Enchantment

Flasher strikes again at the Ventana Ranch

Ours and Ventana Village is where families go for a walk.

“It’s just disgusting, heartbreaking, a new low, it’s just a new low. I’ve never heard or seen anything like it in my life, ”said Leeann Smith, resident.

Smith has lived in the Ventana Ranch neighborhood for ten years. Her husband showed her the warning on Nextdoor last week – the warning from a man caught masturbating in the neighborhood.

“I was like wow, I can’t believe this isn’t new. It keeps happening and we can’t, we don’t have any real answers at the moment, ”said one resident.

Monday morning around 10:30 am the man was back in the same area, the corner of Rainbow and Ventana Village.

“He loved that I photographed him. If you don’t catch him, he’s going to find a bigger venue, ”said Rembrandt Smith, resident.

He took several photos because Smith said the man needed to be caught. He also took photos of his car – an unregistered black Nissan – and handed it over to the police.

“Yeah, pretty sick. It doesn’t belong in this neighborhood. We have too many beautiful families with children who don’t need that, ”said Rembrandt.

With multiple reports, they are now hoping the police will act to prevent more families from becoming victims.

“I think we need a lot more police protection. I think it’s a social problem, ”said LeeAnn.

KOB 4 contacted the police and they said the officers are working to identify this suspect.

They encourage people to keep reporting this man, saying it is a criminal offense. It is an offense unless it is a juvenile, then it is a crime.
