LANL Employees In Los Alamos And Santa Fe Facilities Required To Wear Masks Indoors – Los Alamos Reporter

Effective Tuesday, Los Alamos National Laboratory must wear masks indoors in both Los Alamos and Santa Fe Lab facilities in accordance with CDC guidance. The announcement to employees says that on November 10, the COVID-19 community level moved to high in Los Alamos and Santa Fe counties.
“All other Lab locations outside of these two counties do not need to wear a mask at this time. While many are suffering from the effects of COVID-19 fatigue, there are good reasons to remain vigilant to protect your health,” the announcement states. “Fundamental precautions like physical distancing, wearing masks in the community and using hand sanitizer are still important ways to help stave off infection on-site and at home, no matter which variant you may be exposed to.”
