Mysterious metal fragment found near the Roswell UFO crash site in New Mexico and sent for testing | Strange | news

The scrap that bestselling author Ben Mezrich has found is waiting to be tested, he revealed in his new book.

He arrived on site to research his new book – The 37th Parallel – which examined the UFO street of the same name.

The 37th parallel is the 37th parallel north and part of it became known as the Paranormal Highway due to the high number of UFO sightings and inexplicable cases of animal mutilation.

It is also said to be home to many U.S. military bases and Indian holy sites.

The Roswell case has been at the center of the UFO scene since July 1947, when the military sensationally announced in a press release that they had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the nearby desert.

But the next day, it withdrew the testimony, saying it was actually a damaged US Air Force balloon.

Witnesses later came forward and said that there were alien bodies in the “crashed ship” which were then taken along with the wreckage to the mysterious, top-secret military base Area 51 in Nevada.

Mr. Mezrich’s book looks at the series of UFO sightings along the parallel, including the infamous Roswell case.

It shows the work of Chuck Zukowski, a UFOlogen who has been studying cases along the parallel that spans the southern ridge of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona for several decades.

Mr Mezrich, who also wrote The Accidental Billionaires, the bestselling book on which the film The Social Network is based, admitted to being a total skeptic before researching the book.

He said, “I come from a family of scientists and skeptics.

“I assumed most of the UFO community was insane.”

But Mr. Zukowski, a part-time microchip engineer and former deputy sheriff, convinced him otherwise.

Mr. Mezrich added, “I believe something happened at Roswell.”

In 2002, Mr. Zukowski, who had been searching the area for hours, found a strange triangular piece of metal near the 1947 crash site.

He recently sent a fragment of it to Bigelow Aerospace’s lab and is still waiting for conclusive results on what the book says it consists of.
