Santa Fe County firefighters battled a fire early Wednesday morning at a family home on Calle Joncito, Nambé, in which a person was being rushed to a local hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire, which led to the total loss of the house, said district spokeswoman Carmelina Hart.
Two people were rescued from the house and one required hospital treatment, she added.
The Los Alamos County Fire Department helped the Santa Fe County crews completely put out the fire.
