New Mexico reports 8 new deaths, 578 additional COVID-19 cases

  • A woman in her 70s from Sandoval County. The person was hospitalized with underlying illnesses.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 4,585.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 578 other COVID-19 cases. As of Thursday, New Mexico has reported a total of 239,006 cases.

The state reported that 397 people are currently being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Thursday, there have been 206,925 COVID-19 cases classified as recovered by the NMDOH.
