A new set of traffic lights was installed on Motel Boulevard and Tashiro Drive.
The signal will start to flash for two days on Monday, September 27, 2021. The new signal will start normal operation on Wednesday, 09/29/2021. Drivers should be aware that this is a traffic pattern change and can potentially be set to flash during set-up time.
Surrounding shops and apartments remain accessible. The RoadRUNNER Transit routes are not affected.
Road construction on Tashiro Drive, from Motel Boulevard to Valley Drive, is still ongoing, and Tashiro will remain closed at this time. The work is located in City Council District 4.
Motorists are encouraged to be careful around the area or to take an alternate route to avoid possible delays as the works could affect traffic around this intersection.
