NM State Adds All-American Junior College Pitcher

LAS CRUCES, NM – One of the nation’s top junior college pitchers is ready to call Las Cruces home. Head Coach Kathy Rodolph announced the signing of Brown, a First Team NJCCA All-American selection out of Odessa College, this morning.

  • Named a First Team NJCCA All-American
  • Back-to-back seasons as the WJCAC Conference Most Valuable Player
  • Named as the 2022 NJCCA Region 5 West MVP in addition to being a First Team All-Region and All-Conference Selection.
  • In 2022, Brown posted a 1.72 ERA striking out 237 hitters in 134 innings pitched averaging just over 12 strikeouts per game.
  • Brown put together an eye-popping 45-5 record in 59 career appearances for Odessa.
  • In both of her seasons at Odessa College, the Wranglers made trips to the NJCCA World Series.
  • Was named the WJCAC Pitcher of the Week 11 times this season and added NJCCA Pitcher of the Week honors in March.
