LAS CRUCES, NM – August has arrived, and that means that the new season of NM State Soccer is around the corner. On Monday, the NM State Soccer team released its complete 2022 schedule for the upcoming season. The schedule includes 17 games, six non-conference, and 11 conference matches. The year will kick off with a home exhibition against our neighbors from the north, NM Highlands, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 13 at 1 pm However, the season opener will see the team travel to Eugene, Oregon, where the Aggies will take on the Ducks. That match is scheduled for Thursday, August 18 at 6 pm MST. This will be the first time the two schools have met in their respected program history.

Following the trip up to Oregon, the Aggies have two more road games – at California State Fullerton (8/21) and at Texas A&M (8/27) – before the battle of I-10 finds its way to Las Cruces when the Aggies will take on the Miners September 1, at 7 pm

After the battle of I-10, the Aggies will have a four-game home stretch which will include two conference and non-conference opponents. Portland State comes to Las Cruces on September 3, with Nevada closing out the Aggies’ non-conference schedule the following week on September 9. From there, the Aggies will play out their conference schedule starting with Utah Valley on September 16, and then Seattle U. two days later on September 18. An announcement that NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia made last November.
