NMSU is accepting peanut butter for parking quotes this week

LAS CRUCES, NM (KRQE) – New Mexico State University is accepting jars of peanut butter this week to help cover the cost of park fees. In a press release, the NMSU states that those with No Current Permit parking permits on campus can cover the cost of the citation style from November 29 through December 3 by having at least 80 ounces, about five or six small glasses , bring along. of peanut butter.

The jars will be donated to the Aggie Cupboard grocery pantry, which provides free complementary nutrition to the NMSU community that includes students, staff, and faculties from Las Cruces and Dona Ana Community College. To “pay” for your quote, take the glasses to the parking and ID card service office, located on the second floor of the NMSU bookstore.

NMSU Parking Services only accepts peanut butter for one quote per person and the offer does not apply to other quotes or violations. At the end of the spring semester there will also be the option of paying for “no valid parking permit” with peanut butter.
