APD TELLS ACTION 7 NEWS THE SHOOTING HAPPENED ON A BED STREET NORTHEAST THAT IS NEAR MAURICE AND CONSTITUTION. OUR GENEVIEVE GLASS IS THERE LIVE AT THE SCENE NOW. NOW, POLICE SAY THEY WERE CALLED OUT HERE THIS AFTERNOON TO A SHOOTING. NOW, WE DISCOVERED THAT ANOTHER SHOOTING HAPPENED AT THIS HOME ON OCTOBER 5TH WHERE A SUSPECT DID FIRE AT OFFICERS AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. SO AN INTERESTING INFORMATION THERE. Police are at the scene of shooting incident, which took place Thursday afternoon in northeast Albuquerque.A spokesperson with APD says the shooting occurred at 1404 Betts St. NE. The scene is still active and SWAT has been called out to that location. However, this isn’t their first run in at 1404 Betts St. NE. In November, APD released details of a shooting involving police in October. The shooting is still under investigation. KOAT will provide updates on this developing story, as more details become available.
