Power Equipment acquires Golden Equipment

Power Equipment Co. acquired Golden Equipment Co., a full-service equipment dealer with locations in Albuquerque and Farmington, New Mexico and Durango, Colorado.

The acquisition strengthens Power Equipment’s presence in New Mexico and southern Colorado with additional equipment and support solutions in the rolling stock, compact, genset, crane and paving, and construction market aggregation segments.

Headquartered in Denver, Power Equipment currently has three additional locations in Colorado (Colorado Springs, Grand Junction and Greeley); one in Casper, Wyoming; one each in Albuquerque and Farmington, New Mexico, and one in Kansas City, Missouri.

Founded in 1985, Golden Equipment represents brands such as Volvo Construction Equipment, Cedarapids, Gomaco, Blaw-Knox, Entyre and more.

Power Equipment says that with these adjacent territories and synergies between key product lines like Volvo Construction Equipment and others, the company will be able to provide common resources, including machinery, parts inventory and service offerings.
