Obituary of Robert Patrick Valencia
Robert Patrick Valencia, AKA our Superman was born to William Valencia and Arcelia Cripsin-Valencia in Santa Fe, NM, on March 10, 1965. Robert was the youngest child and was loved and cherished by each of his siblings; Melba Martinez, Andy Valencia, Yolanda Sanchez, Daniel(Danny) Valencia, and Darby Valencia.
Robert was a proud father to Celina Orona and Robert Valencia. He was even prouder of his 7 grandchildren, Kristiana, Joseph Jr., Maliyah, Aubriana, Lucas, Cayliana, and Mariyah. He found comfort knowing his children had supportive and loving spouses. He loved his son-in-law Joseph Orona and daughter-in-law Andrea Valencia very much. The family he created was his greatest accomplishment in life.
Robert lived most of his life in Santa Fe, NM; leaving to live in Los Lunas and Albuquerque for a period of time. Robert loved to cook and serve others. He worked as a chef and was known for surprise cooking dinners to bless others. Robert loved music, especially music made by his brother Darby. Robert was shy but later in life found his voice and a love for playing the harmonica. Robert loved to play and make others laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and his many nieces and nephews; taking everyone out to his favorite places in Pecos, NM to fish and camp. Family was important to Robert.
Robert being a humble and private man, quietly battled an illness. Sadly, he lost his battle on June 12, 2022. Robert was a born-again Christian who leaned on the Lord during this time, and in this we find peace knowing we will see him again. His children invite you to celebrate his life on June 23, 2022 @ 3pm at Calvary Church Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE. 87109.
A private family reception will immediately follow the services. Details will be shared within the family circle. The family welcomes positive thoughts and prayers during this time.
