Santa Fe Farms Announces Executive Leadership Changes and Million-Acre Strategy to Supply Customers with Industrial Hemp-based Materials

SANTA FE, NM – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Santa Fe Farms, a company leading the development of the industrial hemp industry, today announced management changes and a strategy to provide Tier 1 customers with bulk industrial hemp-based materials while helping them manage their ESG -Fulfill obligations. All changes in the executive board will take effect on January 1, 2022.

Steven Gluckstern, Santa Fe Farms CEO, will become Executive Chairman to focus on relationship building, industry advocacy including public policy, thought leadership, education, and further building and enhancing the Santa Fe Farms brand. After more than 25 years in a managerial role, Kim Kovacs, recently named Forbes’ 50 over 50 investment, will move from Chief Strategy Officer to Chief Executive Officer. Rick Schawelson, with over 40 years of experience in the business world and global supply chain management, will assume the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. Schawelson will oversee the company’s growth / cultivation, processing and products operating units, as well as its industrial agriculture, domestic partners and international relations.
