Pedestrian hit-and-run on Mesa Road at a student’s hospital

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (September 22, 2021) – A student was injured after a hit and run on Mesa Road Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at around 6:46 a.m. on September 16 at a bus stop on Mesa Road.

A silver Dodge Durango reportedly fled the scene immediately after hitting a student at a bus stop in the area. Fortunately, a school bus camera recorded the accident, the police added.

In addition, the rescue workers transported the student to a local hospital and is expected to be fine.

In addition, the officers asked all witnesses, or anyone who knows the driver, to contact the sheriff’s office at 505-866-2400.
