LAS CRUCES – Attention coffee fans, the second Dutch Bros location in Las Cruces is holding its grand opening Wednesday, May 18.
The drive-thru coffee chain opened its first location in town almost a year ago along Bataan Memorial East to much anticipation. Customers found long lines for weeks once the store started taking orders.
Dutch Bros offers specialty hot and cold coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes, teas and a company energy drink and nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee. The Oregon-based company was founded in 1992 and now has over 570 locations in 13 states.

Besides Las Cruces, Dutch Bros has five locations in Albuquerque with another opening soon. Two shops are open in El Paso currently with another two coming soon to the east and west sides.
This newest New Mexico location is at 3000 N. Main St., across the street from Mister Car Wash and CVS. The drink stop will be offering customers any menu item for $3 Wednesday.
“We’re stoked to open a new shop to serve our Las Cruces community,” said Lindsey Bianco, operator of Dutch Bros Las Cruces, in a news release.
Wednesday’s grand opening comes right before the company’s annual Drink One For Dane campaign in support of ending ALS. One of the company’s cofounders passed away from ALS. Each year since 2007, proceeds collected from sales at each location is donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for research.
Dutch Bros is open from 5 am to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 5 am to 11 pm Friday and Saturday.
