SF Augments Safety Measures on All Properties

October 25, 2021 – Santa Fe College has improved security on the Northwest campus and all SF centers by adding bleeding control kits to the college buildings. The kits that come with everyone The automatic external defibrillator (AED) at SF includes all of the elements necessary to control heavy bleeding and prevent further loss for a victim who has suffered a traumatic injury.

A bleeding control kit is now on every AED machine at Santa Fe College.

College officials have worked diligently to create a safety-focused environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, and have taken steps necessary to protect the college community. Some of these measures come in the form of devices like AEDs and bleeding control kits, other efforts include the creation of the Building Safety Ambassador program and a focus on customer service and proactive behavior to mitigate potential dangers and risks in the college.
