Sheriff’s deputies, state police investigating reports of gunshots near N.M. 14 | Local News

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of shots fired Wednesday morning in a neighborhood near NM 14 between Santa Fe and the village of Cerrillos.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Juan Ríos said MPs, with the assistance of the New Mexico State Police, would investigate near Arroyo Coyote Road.

Witnesses in the area have reported seeing a state police tactical team and helicopter circling the area near Arroyo Coyote Road and Shilo Shilo Road.

A local agent said the investigation involves finding a person. An ambulance was stationed off Arroyo Coyote Road.
