The NM State Men’s WAC opener in Seattle U has been postponed

From NMSU Athletics

DENVER – Due to COVID-19 logs in the Seattle Underwater Men’s Basketball program, the NM State Men’s Basketball team will not be able to play their scheduled WAC competition against the Redhawks on Thursday December 30th in Seattle, Washington.

Administrators from the affected institutions will work together to find mutually agreed dates for the rescheduling. If a date is not found, the games are considered non-competitive.

NM State, which is 11-2, is preparing for its next regular action on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. On that day, the Aggies will host WAC opponents Chicago State at the Pan American Center. The competition will serve as the NM State’s first WAC competition in the 2021-22 season and is scheduled to be streamed nationwide on ESPN + and the ESPN app.

The Aggies’ 11 wins are the most by any team in the WAC and NM State are currently running a six-game winning streak that began on Friday, December 3, 2021.
