UFO video by a US Air Force veteran sent to NASA for analysis after filming supersonic objects | Strange | news

The US Air Force veteran, based in Ayden, North Carolina, filmed the fast-paced UFO with a camera mounted on a drone.

The 59-year-old sent the footage to the US Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for investigation.

In a report to MUFON, the world’s largest organization devoted to UFO and extraterrestrial research, he said the object accelerated about 1.2 miles in only a third of a second, which means that if it’s correct, it accelerates at about Traveled 13,000 miles per hour, or 17 times the speed of sound.

Open Minds TV, which covers interesting MUFON cases, said the mysterious object was filmed at an estimated speed of 10,000-13,000 miles per hour only about 15 meters above the ground.

MUFON said the witness had served the USAF for 20 years and filmed the UFO on October 26 at 2:12 p.m.

The man said, “This UFO video was recorded with my DJI Phantom 3 Professional 4K aerial camera.

“I submitted a UFO report to MUFON and they notified NASA and sent them a copy of the video.”

In a report to MUFON he added: “I thought I saw everything.

“This footage brought me back. I flew my aerial camera from Ayden District Park. The sky was clear with unlimited visibility. “

The eyewitness only noticed the object when looking back at the recorded film material.

He said, “I haven’t seen this object firsthand; It wasn’t until I checked the 4K footage on my 4K TV that I first spotted the object on video. ”

The video shows the UFO passing blurred under the witness’s drone.

He added, “I am shooting in 4K / 30fps and you can see this object in 10 frames as it flies towards and past my drone.

“During these 10 viewing frames, this object travels three quarters to a mile in a third of a second – about 10,000 miles per hour.”

He also thought it was a solid metallic object that reflected or emitted its own light.

MUFON’s North Carolina investigator Sanford Davis wrote in a report: “It was observed while the witness was checking images of aerial drones.

“The entire sighting takes place within a third of a second – a stripe appears in the background that brushes the screen before disappearing in the foreground.

“It appears as a white point that flattens out into a ‘disk of light’ before disappearing from the screen.”

Mr. Davis could not reach a definitive conclusion.

He speculated it might have been another drone flying under the witness, or a reflection of something flying overhead.

But he couldn’t rule out a flicker or a technical error.

Footage uploaded to YouTube fueled the debate, with one viewer saying, “Don’t need NASA or MUFON to realize it’s just a mistake.”

Another said: “To you UFO nuts, UFO is foreign 99.9 percent of the time; for this reason.”
