Facility to offer training for logistics, warehousing, transportation jobs

Union Pacific logo with Building America sloganSUNLAND PARK, NM — Ceremonies to mark a new workforce training center funded through a grant from Union Pacific are set for Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Dona Ana Community College in Sunland Park, near Santa Teresa, NM, and El Paso, Texas.

The ribbon-cutting will be held at 10 am

The Las Cruces Bulletin reports the Union Pacific Industrial Careers Academy, made possible by the railroad’s $350,000 grant, will offer fast-track training in logistics, warehousing, transportation, manufacturing and other careers.
