UPDATE: Shelter in Place Lifted at Albuquerque HS & CEC/ECA – Tuesday, Sep. 27

UPDATE: As of 3:26 pm, the shelter in place at Albuquerque HS and CEC/ECA has been lifted.

As of 2:54 pm, AHS and CEC/ECA students will be released soon. There is no bus service. Families who are picking up students are asked to enter the campus from Indian School and leave from Mountain. Police searched the school and found nothing to substantiate the threat. Sorry for any inconvenience and that you for your patience as we work to keep our students and staff safe.

As of 2:20 pm, dismissal has been delayed at Albuquerque HS and CEC/ECA due to the police investigation in the area.

Students won’t be dismissed investigation on time at Albuquerque High and CEC/ECA today due to ongoing police that put the school in a shelter in place. During a shelter in place, no one is allowed in or out of the school. Please don’t call or come to the school at this time. We will update you as soon as we have more information to share. Thank you for your patience.

As of 1:51 pm, Albuquerque HS and CEC/ECA is in a shelter in place at the request of the police as they investigate a possible threat.
