WEBB “RYAN” LEE
9/23/97 – 8/29/22
Webb Ryan Lee passed away suddenly on August 29, 2022 at the age of 24. He is survived by his mother, Lindsley Wallace Mace; sister, Meaghan Lee; grandmother, Ann Wallace; grandfather, Robert E. Lee Sr. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee III; grandfather, Webb Lindsley Wallace; grandmother, Mary Carney Lee and many life-long friends.
We were blessed by Ryan coming into this world almost 25 years ago. Named after his beloved Grandaddy, who had him riding a horse before he could walk, he could not have been more loved. Growing up, Ryan was a gift to everyone who knew him – charming, sweet, funny and clever. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, snowboarding and enjoying nature all around. Ryan loved and had strong empathy and kindness for animals. As a young man Ryan was skilled with his hands, had a head for engineering and while at UNM made plans for himself to go into construction management. With the encouragement of a family friend, he tried his hand at jewelry making and dreamed of going to New Zealand to search for the perfect gemstones.
Ryan was deeply loved by his friends and was regarded as fiercely loyal and steadfast. He had a special bond with each of his grandparents always treating them with great respect and kindness, always ready to pitch in with a helping hand. He had a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous grin that cannot be replaced. Ryan, you are loved forever and will be missed forever until the day we can rejoice together in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at the Rivera Funeral Home Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 Rodeo Road.
