The 2021 Holiday Classic, presented by SBLive Sports, is a nationally sanctioned high school basketball tournament held annually in San Diego.
The 31st edition of “The Classic” will take place from December 27th to 30th, 2021 and includes 64 teams in four gyms. As has been customary since 2015, a Tip Off Night also took place on December 23rd. Six of San Diego’s best teams competed in three games, all of which were played in the historic gym of Torrey Pines High School.
Over the years, the Holiday Classic has become the “tournament of choice” for Boy Scouts, college coaches and high-level basketball programs from across the country, according to the Holiday Classic website. The tournament games are played in four different high school gyms in San Diego. Hosts in 2021 include Torrey Pines High School (National Division); Saint Augustine High School (American Department); Carlsbad High School (Senatorial Division); Rancho Buena Vista High School (Governor and Mayor’s Department).
