Rare tea opens in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES – Las Crucens has a new place to fix bubble tea – Rare Tea on Sonoma Ranch Boulevard.

Rare Tea had its tentative opening this past weekend at 4660 Sonoma Ranch Blvd. St. # 160. The company was founded in 2016 in California. They are primarily based on the west coast, but also have locations in Arizona, Florida, and now New Mexico. Las Cruces is the 15th location and according to its website. Rare Tea will soon have seven more locations in California, Washington, and Virginia.

The menu includes unique drinks such as tea presso, various milk teas, matcha lattes, fruit teas, smoothies and classic teas. You can even try a specialty like Brown Sugar Brulee or Strawberry Berry Snow Cream.

In an email to Sun News, the company stated that they “use local fruits and source our teas directly from the best tea farmers in the world.”

The store is scheduled to open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. December 27th. If drinks are bought, you get one for free.

Rare Tea’s normal business hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Place your order online at rareteasonoma.square.site.
