Albuquerque beat Chihuahuas 7-3 on Friday night

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Albuquerque Isotopes beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 7-3 at Rio Grande Credit Union Field in Isotopes Park on Friday. The two teams split the first two games in the series.

The Chihuahuas entered the game with the best team bet percentage in Triple-A West, but made three mistakes, their first three-fault game since August 2 in Sugar Land. El Paso’s third baseman Nick Tanielu made only his second mistake in 87 games this season.

El Paso starting pitcher Caleb Boushley defeated seven batter and now has 15 strikeouts in his last two starts. Boushley also hit a floor ball single on Friday, his first professional hit. Matt Batten and Jose Azocar both had two hits for the Chihuahuas.
