LAS CRUCES – Police are seeking help from the public in finding a man who they suspect may have killed another man.
Gumaro Enrique Vega, 34, of Anthony, New Mexico, is wanted by the police in connection with the death of his uncle Albaro Garcia, 50.
Authorities believe Vega stabbed Garcia multiple times on or around Saturday, October 9th. Authorities said an arrest warrant had been issued for Vega and that his last known whereabouts were on the 900 block on Charles Avenue in Anthony.
Vega is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 300 pounds. He is bald, has brown eyes and an “S” tattoo on his head.
“Vega should not be approached by the public as it may be armed and dangerous,” the authorities said. “Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gumaro Enrique Vega is asked to call 911 immediately.”
