Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn are the stars of “Better Call Saul”.

In the years the two actors have shot in Albuquerque, they always give back to the community.

At the end of the series, Odenkirk and Seehorn will host the “Bob & Rhea Better Call Saul We Love ABQ Charity Night Improv Comedy Show” on January 15th at 8pm at the Theater in the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

According to the organizers, the event will also have special guests.

Tickets will go on sale on nhccnm.org on Friday, December 17 at 10 a.m., and cost between $ 20, $ 30, and $ 50 plus service charges.

The performance will raise funds for the Cardboard Playhouse Theater Company and New Day Youth & Family Services.

Cardboard Playhouse is one of the few children’s theaters that does not charge children a performance fee.

Okenkirk is known for dropping in on improvisation nights at the theater, according to Doug Montoya, owner of The Box Performance Space and Improv Theater.

Montoya was able to win Odenkirk for a benefit show in the KiMo-Theater in April 2018.

“We put a bug in his ear that we might move it to a larger room and make it an advantage for our children’s theater group. He agreed to it quickly, ”said Montoya.

On the 2018 show, Odenkirk was endorsed by many of his “Better Call Saul” cast.

Odenkirk started out as a comedy writer for the shows “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “The Dennis Miller Show”, “Get a Life” and “Saturday Night Live”. He also played various characters on “The Ben Stiller Show” from 1992-93.

The NHCC will require either proof of vaccination completed at least 14 days prior to the event or a negative COVID test performed by a health professional within 72 hours of the event. Originals or photos of documents with appropriate identification are accepted. Masks are also compulsory in the NHCC.
