Body found outside of southeastern Albuquerque home

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Albuquerque police report that a motorcyclist died of injuries after an accident early Saturday morning in the southwestern part of town. At around 2:00 a.m., APD responded to a call from a motorcycle that collided with a limousine at the intersection of 98th Street and Tower Road, southwest.

Officials say the limo was traveling south on 98th and turning onto Demi Road east. The limousine is said to have turned in front of the motorcyclist, causing the motorcycle to hit the vehicle. According to the police, the motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. The motorcyclist was rushed to the University of New Mexico hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
