LAS CRUCES – Caliche’s Frozen Custard announced on social media that their Lenox Avenue location is temporarily closed due to staff shortages.
Javier Morales, president of Caliche, said the company had lost staff, which suddenly boosts the closure announced around noon on Monday. The Lenox Avenue location – just off North Main Street – is closed until further notice.
Morales said they are working to reopen Wednesday Lenox Caliche with changed hours – possibly 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – until staff numbers pick up again.
This newest caliche’s just opened a month ago.
The Roadrunner Parkway, Valley Drive and Alamogordo locations will continue to be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
