Carla Jean Corrales was born in Albuquerque where she attended and graduated from Valley High. She moved to Aztec in 1980 where she met her husband, they married a year later in 1981. From Aztec they moved to Bloomfield for 3 years and started their family together before moving to Albuquerque. Carla and her family lived in Albuquerque for 28 years before relocating to Colorado where they lived for 4 years before moving back to Farmington in 2017. Carla Jean Corrales passed on May 26, 2022, in Farmington New Mexico after 60 years on earth.
Carla was preceded in death by her grandson Charlie Corrales, her father John Flowers, her mother Emil & Emma Jean Sydow, her brothers Ronnie Flowers & Michael Flowers, and her grandparents John D. Flowers, Melinda Flowers, Lloyd Dewees, Doreen Dewees.
Carla Jean Corrales is survived by her husband Joe Corrales, her son Christopher Corrales, her brothers Robert Flowers, Jerrell Flowers, Rick Flowers, Raymond Sydow, her sisters Janice Lusk, Mitchell Strickland, Mary Powers and Connie Mercer, her grandchildren Isaiah Corrales and Chance Corrales. Visitation will be at 9:00 am Saturday June 4th, 2022, at St. Mary 307 N Church St followed by a service at 10:00 am officiated by Pastor Francis Akano.
