LAS CRUCES – Children aged 5-11 can get the COVID-19 vaccination in Las Cruces from Friday.
The New Mexico Department of Health announced that there will be free COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Las Cruces Public Health Office, 1170 N. Solano Drive.
Vaccinations for adults are from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and for children from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The appointments for the NMDOH reports are preferred and can be made online at VaccineNM.org. Anyone who doesn’t have internet access or is having trouble planning online can call 575-528-5064. Walk-in customers are welcome as long as the vaccine supplies last.

The Department of Health will be offering free both COVID-19 and flu vaccinations for free to adults only every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Tuesday at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road.
People who only want a flu shot can get their flu shot without getting a COVID-19 shot.
Additional times and locations for vaccinations in collaboration with Las Cruces Public Schools will be announced at a later date, the department said.
