David Gene MacEntire was born on November 6, 1956 in Farmington, New Mexico, to Thomas Omie MacEntire II and Barbara Jean Kuykendall MacEntire. Dave and his family moved to Mead, OK, in June 1964. He attended Mead Silo Schools and graduated from Silo High School in 1977. Dave attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK. Then he started working at Hitchcocks. He married Alicia Alexander on August 11, 1978. In 1982 Dave and Alicia moved to Pottsboro where they would have their eldest son Brad. In 1984 they founded and owned Gateway Automotive and would welcome their second son, Jeff. In 1986, Dave and Alicia moved and manufactured Gateway Automotive II in Kingston, OK. and greeted her daughter Kristi. In May 1995 Dave sold Gateway Automotive and worked with his father and brothers at TNM Automotive. On June 1, 1999, Dave left TNM and moved to Noble, OK, where he began working at ICS Directional Drilling in Moore, OK. In the summer of 2013, Dave started and led a happy life with Mary Almas. Dave retired from ICS Directional Drilling on October 15, 2021. David died at Norman Regional Hospital on October 23, 2021.
In death his parents and (1) brother preceded him; Thomas O. MacEntire III. He is survived by (2) sons; Brad MacEntire and wife Kate from Gretna, NE, Jeff MacEntire and wife Taylor from Oklahoma City, OK. (1 daughter; Krist MacEntire and boyfriend Dakota Brownings from Bonham, TX, (1) stepson: William Woodard and wife Kristin from Lawton, OK, (2) stepdaughters: Mary Beth Williams and husband Mike from Lawton, OK, Kelly Miller from Noble, OK, ( 13) grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
