The Executive Committee of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the selection of Elinor R. Brown as the new Executive Director for the Chamber, effective Sept. 6, 2022. Elinor replaces Glenna Phelps-Aurich who has led the Chamber over the past five years and retires Sept 30.

There has been significant growth and enhancement in both the support of our members and community awareness of Chamber activities over the past five years and with that, our challenge was to recruit and select that ‘right fit’ of leader to continue and build from this momentum . Elinor brings a highly successful leadership background in a variety of civic and non-profit settings including the Farmington (New Mexico) Convention and Visitors Bureau, Rural Solutions (Sterling), Fort Morgan Workforce Center and most recently, Morgan Community College where she served as Manufacturing Pathways Campus Coordinator.

Elinor and her husband Bob have lived in Sterling since early 2013.

We are very excited to welcome Elinor and to introduce her to our members and community.

Elinor can be reached through the Chamber Office at 970.522.5070.

The mission of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce demonstrates our dedication to support, promote and guide the business and civic communities of Logan County, nurturing business and community growth. The Chamber provides services to enhance a favorable business climate as a force for constructive change in our communities.
