QUOTABLE | HEAD COACH RICK PRATT

“Today’s meet was a great opportunity for us to focus on our energy and some of the races that our women don’t always get to do in our typical dual meet format. Since we were not heading to an invite the week before Thanksgiving, our team was able to crush a few weeks of training that will help to carry us well into next semester.

“Freshman Jamie Puhalski got her first collegiate win today in the 1000 Free which was an exciting way to start out the meet.

“We are really looking forward to getting up to the UNLV Invite in a few weeks where we will get to compete in a three-day, prelim-final format against 10 other programs.”

UP NEXT

The Aggies will conclude their fall season with a trip to Las Vegas where they will participate in the UNLV Winter Invite from Dec. 17-19 NM State will then return home on Saturday, Jan. 7, to host WAC foes Grand Canyon and Idaho.
