LAS CRUCES – Gus Macker, the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament, returns to Las Cruces August 28-29. Kona Ice is excited to bring back this highly anticipated, family-friendly weekend festival of sports and sportsmanship for all ages.
“This is a great opportunity for young people and adults from Doña Ana County and the entire region to experience beautiful Las Cruces while showing off their skills on the pitch,” said Keith Placencio, Gus Macker tournament organizer of Las Cruces.
Registrations for teams of four are now possible at www.macker.com/local/las-cruces-nm. Registrations must be completed and submitted by Friday, August 7th. The entry fee is USD 148 per team of four. The tournament takes place on Hadley Avenue, where it was originally held in Las Cruces over 20 years ago. The proceeds from this event will go to Tresco Inc.
