Las Cruces improved to 4-3 that season and 2-0 in District 3-6A with a street win in Hobbs on Friday.
The Bulldawgs were leading 34-21 6:48 to play after Dalin Walter’s second field goal of the game.
Hobbs made it 34-28 6:48 and won an onsides kick, but the Bulldawgs sealed the win with an interception from Jacob Maes in the end zone.
Orgelberg 34, Gadsden 29
The Knights tied their record 3-3 that season with a road win in Gadsden. The Panthers dropped to 3-5 during the season.
Organ Mountain returns to the district game next week with a home game against Hobbs.
Centennial 35, Karlovy Vary 0
Centennial improved to 6-1 in the season and 2-0 in District 3-6A and entered the showdown against Las Cruces the next week.
Karlovy Vary fell back to 0-2 in the district game.
