The weather is cold, but one of country’s rising stars is headed to Albuquerque in June.
Kane Brown added seven new dates to his “Drunk or Dreaming Tour,” which includes a stop at Isleta Amphitheater on June 11, 2023. Opening for the tour will be Gabby Barrett and Locash.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am Wednesday, Nov. 30, at ticketmaster.com.
A presale begins at 10 am Monday, Nov. 28, by registering at kanebrownmusic.com. Citi card holders will also be able to participate in the presale at noon, Monday, Nov. 28.
Brown is currently on the international leg of his tour, which wraps on Jan. 31, in Stockholm.
The new tour follows the success of Brown’s “Blessed & Free Tour” in which he visited all 29 NBA basketball arenas, making him the first country artist in history to headline every NBA basketball arena in a single tour and one of only 10 other countries acts to sell out Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) in the venue’s history.
Since his self-titled debut in 2016, Brown has become one of country music’s innovative artists with his signature sound with influences outside of the country genre.
Brown has released two studio albums, three EP’s, and has over 12 billion streams. He’s sold out arenas all across the country, is the recipient of five American Music Awards, and was the first Black solo artist to receive an ACM Award for Video of the Year for his emotionally charged hit single “Worldwide Beautiful.”
Continuing to push beyond the country genre Brown has collaborated with some of the industries favorites from all genres including DJ Marshmello, Khalid and Swae Lee, blackbear, Nelly, John Legend, Camila Cabello, Brooks & Dunn, Lauren Alaina and Becky G. Brown’s most recent “Famous Friends” with Chris Young became Billboard’s 2021 year-end No. 1 Country Airplay Song and remained in the Top 5 of Billboard’s airplay chart for 15 weeks.
His most recent album, “Different Man,” was released in September.
