LAS CRUCES – The city announced that its road management team will work with the Army Corp of Engineers to review the infrastructure on the Las Cruces Dam and make the necessary repairs.
Work will close the dam – a popular recreational spot – for five weeks starting Monday, October 11th. The causeway parking lots on Lohman Avenue and Northrise Drive (the old Tee Time location) will also be closed. The schedule may change, the city announced.
Many residents walk and cycle along the crest of the five-kilometer-long dam that runs parallel to Telshor Boulevard.
