RAVENNA, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Matthew L. Bush died from Ravenna, aged 39, of a brief but rapid illness of cancer.

He was born on January 20, 1982 in Stuttgart to Dennis L. Bush and Deborah J. Bush.

Matthew graduated from Labrae High School in the 2000 class.

He married the love of his life, Amber R. Henderso, on March 6, 2014, and they have enjoyed the last seven years of marriage together.

Matthew has lived in Ravenna for five years and was previously from Warren.

He worked as a truck driver for Dayton Freight for the past five years.

Matthew loved spending time with his family, driving his Harley, watching sports, especially driving the Kansas City Chiefs and trucks.

He was a member of the Life Church in Leavittsburg.

Matthew preceded his grandparents Francis and Betty Bush in death.

He leaves behind a loving family: his wife Amber R. Bush from Ravenna; his children Adalynn R. and Brayden L. Bush of Ravenna; his parents, Dennis L. and Deborah J. Bush of Warren; a brother, Brandon L. Bush of Warren; biological mother and stepfather Michelle and Randy Ashby of Nashville, Tennessee; two siblings, Morgan and Devin Prince from Tampa, Florida and Cody Hartness from Nashville, Tennessee; Maternal grandparents, Barbara Logsdon of Farmington, New Mexico, and many wonderful uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews, to mention them all along with his wife Amber’s family who loved him as their own son, brother, and friend.

At Matthew’s request, the cremation took place.

On Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., a life ministry celebration will be held in the Life Church in Leavittsburg, under the direction of Pastor Rob Bateman. The family will meet friends two hours before the service time from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the telephone hours. Masks are optional.

Matthew is buried in Newton Falls Cemetery.

In place of flowers, the family asked that all donations be sent to Life Church (formerly Leavittsburg Church of God), 610 South Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg, OH 44430 in his memory.
